Casting open in Reggio Emilia for the new film by Andrea Porporati by title Giovannino Guareschi.
The film will be produced by ANELE in collaboration with RAI. Filming will take place in Emilia (location to be defined) starting from September 2024.
We are looking for main roles:
– A LITTLE GIRL FROM EMILIA: between 7 and 9 years old, dark/brown/light brown hair
– AN EMILIAN CHILD: between 7 and 8 years old, dark/brown/light brown hair
– AN EMILIAN CHILD: between 10 and 11 years old, dark/brown/light brown hair.
The castings are aimed at anyone who meets the required requirements (with or without previous experience).
NB: applications other than research are not accepted. Previously nominated children must not apply again. The castings will take place in collaboration with the Emilia-Romagna Film Commission.
The castings will take place on JUNE 21st from 1.00 pm to 5.30 pm, at the Rosebud Cinema, Via Medaglie d’Oro della Resistenza, 4; Reggio Emilia.

Any participation in the audiovisual project will be subject to the mandatory authorization of both parents or guardians. During the selection, the minor may be subjected to interviews, photographic services and/or audiovisual recordings by Anele’s representatives and the aforementioned material will be used internally by Anele for the casting of the film.
