The next 24 hours will be characterized by a sort of cooler break on the climate front, already underway in the North, but arriving shortly also in the rest of the country.
In recent days, Italy has seen a clear climatic division between the northern and southern regions. The northern areas experienced thermal conditions more suited to the period, characterized by a climate that was at times even cool, above all due to an almost constant atmospheric instability. On the other hand, in the South, the climate is still influenced byAfrican anticyclonewhich caused temperatures to soar well above seasonal average values.
The cooler climate that is affecting the northern regions is now preparing to spread like a wave towards the central regions as well.
By the twilight of Thursday 13 June it is expected that the thermometer may even retreat below the usual seasonal readings across almost the entire Central-North, painting a thermal picture decidedly below the standards of the season.
This decidedly less hot interlude will also affect the southern regions on the day Friday 14 Juneoffering an even more marked and perceptible contrast after the great heat of the past few days.
