Local and European elections in the foreground. As for the mayors, in the province the centre-left gains municipalities but loses Muggiò. Ornago and Busnago remain civic. Many confirmations, some plebiscite and quite a few surprises: in Brianza the centre-right and the centre-left ended almost in a draw. The governing coalition, which until Sunday led 17 of the 31 municipalities in the vote, retained 15 municipalities while the center-left rose from 12 to 14.
