Vittorio Celentanomanager in charge of the municipal police command of the Municipality of Striano and two traffic policemen, Salvatore Franzese and Emanuele Castaldo, investigations are at risk. They were urged by the single judge of the Torre Annunziata court Enrico Contiericalled to express his opinion on a dispute between the three representatives of the Striano municipal police and two brothers aged 73 and 69.
The two relatives of Ottaviano were acquitted of the charge of resisting and insulting a public official addressed to them by the Municipality of Ottaviano in response to the complaint presented by the two brothers who reported having been mistreated by Celentano, Franzese and Castaldo in February 2020.
The lawyer Marco Caliendo of the Court of Naples, which defended the two brothers, managed to challenge the criminal conviction order, obtaining a hearing that lasted three years. In the various hearings it was told how the two brothers turned to the municipal police to report the presence of illegal spills on land they owned in Striano.
In the courtroom it emerged that the two relatives would have been mocked for their innocent ignorance of the correct procedure for registering the complaint. An altercation would have arisen between the two brothers and the three representatives of the Municipality. The two, assisted by the lawyer Caliendo, accused Celentano, Franzese and Castaldo of having mistreated them.
In turn, the three reported the two elderly people for resisting and insulting a public official. In court the victory of the two brothers with the judge who sent the documents to the prosecutor’s office to examine the conduct of Celentano, Franzese and Castaldo described in the reasons for the acquittal sentence which will be made known in three months.
