The former Paracchi factory will come back to life and host residential accommodation. This was communicated by the municipality of Turin. The building, where the oldest company in Italy for the manufacture of industrial carpets settled at the beginning of the 1920s, has finally found a buyer in the company Olivero Srl of Fossano (Cn) who won it thanks to an offer of 651 thousand and 500 euros, with an increase of over 22% on the starting auction price of 531 thousand euros.

“The purchase of the Paracchi complex and its regeneration are excellent news for everyone and in particular for the citizens of the area who will be able to recognize a fundamental and concrete step in a long and delicate path in the building made insecure and redeveloped of redevelopment of the area”, comments the Deputy Mayor with responsibility for Heritage Michela Favaro who had decided to include the property in a new disposal procedure, after the first tender in December last year was unsuccessful. The 1,600 square meter complex on 4 floors, abandoned for over twenty years after the closure of the factory in the early 1990s, is located at the intersection of via Pessinetto and Pianezza.
