The extraordinary “high impact” territorial control services aimed at guaranteeing public order and safety in the city area continue incessantly, as ordered by the Police Commissioner of Ancona, in agreement with the Prefect, in the Order Committee is Public Safety.
The police carried out targeted and specific services in the Piano S.Lazzaro area, which allowed 101 people to be identified and subjected to checks. 12 vehicles.
During the checks, the operating officers stopped a young man, near the public garden in the Piano area, while he was busy making a “joint”. At their sight, the young man, later identified as a Bangladeshi citizen aged around 29, simulated a casual gesture and dropped the joint to the ground, which was immediately recovered by the police. The foreign citizen admitted that he had actually prepared a mixture with tobacco and hashish for personal use.
Once taken to the Police Headquarters offices for the necessary investigations, the Officers proceeded with the administrative charge against the young man for the violation of the law on narcotics, pursuant to art. 75 of the Presidential Decree
The checks also involved the “Archi” area, where several subjects were identified by the mixed patrols made up of local police officers and soldiers of the Italian Army.
