An entire afternoon to shine the spotlight on the topic of obesity, on treatment paths but above all on prevention. Thursday 27 Junefrom 3.30pm to 7.30pm, an initiative organized by the Sicob foundation and Asst Nord Milano with the collaboration of Eras Italia and Move-It Obesity.
The meeting will be held at Ernesto Breda sports center, in via XX Settembre in Sesto: a gazebo will be available where you can measure your blood sugar, saturation and blood pressure. A team of specialists will address the topic from different points of view: cardiologist, dietician, nutritionist, pulmonologist, psychologist, physiatrist, gynecologist, bariatric surgeon and a plastic surgeon will be available to clarify disorders related to obesity.
Pediatricians and oncologists will then address the eating disorders in childhood and related tumors. From 6.30 pm to 7.30 pm the football match where the ‘National team’ of the local institutions, captained by the mayor of Sesto San Giovanni Roberto Di Stefano, and the Asst Nord Milano team led by Tommaso Russo, general director of the company, will face each other. My appeal to the people of Sesto – commented Roberto Di Stefano -, is to participate in large numbers: this important event brings together the best excellences of local healthcare to address the issue of obesity at 360 degrees starting from the first signs that can emerge already in childhood, up to offering all the information on the most modern clinical and surgical pathways”.
The match will take place in the sports facility in via XX Settembre: «A heartfelt thanks to Pro Sesto who made the stadium and all the equipment available to the organizers to allow this important initiative to take place», declared Salvatore Romano, vice president of the Sesto San Giovanni city council.
