Caserta – This morning the 225th professional training course for the 163 probationary agents of the State Police ended at the headquarters of the Cadet Officers School of Caserta who, visibly emotional, took their Oath of Loyalty to the Republic.
The ceremony took place in the presence of the prefect Giuseppe Castaldo and the commissioner Andrea Grassi, the civil and military authorities, welcomed by the director of the school. At the same time, a similar swearing-in ceremony was held in 11 State Police Schools for the 2,339 probationary officers of the 225th training course for student officers of the State Police.
In particular, the Minister of the Interior, Matteo Piantedosi, and the Chief of Police Vittorio Pisani also took part in the ceremony in the school in Peschiera del Garda. The solemn phases of the ceremony in Peschiera del Garda were also followed in live streaming by the audience of family members present in the other State Police Schools where, at the same time, another 2,136 Agents of the 225th agent student course swore loyalty to the Republic.
The first classified in the final rankings of the 11 schools received recognition; for all the young policemen, already involved in supervising the polling stations during the recent European consultations, the practical training will begin shortly in the assignment offices located throughout Italy.
