As for sport fishing on the Fiume Morto Nuovo, it will be active from Tuesday to Friday until July 31st and from September 1st to October 31st. The initiative also represents a unique environmental excursion, the cost of the ticket is 23 euros per person and includes transport from the visitor center to the designated place, in fact to preserve the area it is not possible to move by private vehicle in the fishing area. Every day a free place will be available for a person with a disability and a companion. Departure with a vehicle from the visitor center from Cascine Vecchie at 7am and return at 5pm. Fishermen must be in possession of their own personal equipment, taking into account that the accompanying vehicle for the transfer will have a reduced capacity. Participants must comply with the regulations and must respect the places: it is possible to catch up to 3 kilos of fish per person, with limitations on the number of fish and the minimum size depending on the species: sea bass, mullet, sea bream, croaker , bluefish.
