The Municipality communicates the requirements and methods for obtaining the regional bonus. How and by when to submit applications in the offices of the eight constituencies
The Municipality makes known the requirements and the methods for obtaining the regional bonus of one thousand euros for newborns.
A parent or, in the event of the latter’s impediment, one of the subjects exercising parental authority in possession of the following requirements can submit an application for the granting of the bonus: Italian or EU citizenship or (in the case of a non-EU subject, possession of a residence permit ); residence in the Municipality of Palermo at the time of birth or adoption; birth of the child in the territory of the Sicilian Region; indicator Isee of the applicant’s family unit not exceeding 3,000 euros.
The subjects in possession of residency permit they must have been resident in the Sicilian Region for at least twelve months at the time of birth.
How to submit applications
Interested parties must use the application form (downloadable here) available in the municipal district offices.
The application must be submitted to the offices of the constituency to which they belong (also by e-mail) or sent by registered mail:

The application must be accompanied by: a photocopy of the applicant’s valid identification document; the valid ISEE indicator certificate (not exceeding 3,000 euros) issued by the authorized offices according to current legislation; in the case of a non-EU citizen, a copy of the valid residence permit; copy of any adoption provision.
An email address and/or telephone number must be indicated in the application.
The deadlines for submitting applications differ depending on the date of birth (or adoption) of the children.
For those born or adopted between 1 January 2024 and 30 June 2024, the deadline for submitting the application is July 12, 2024while for those born or adopted from 1 July 2024 to 31 December 2024 the deadline is set for January 13, 2025.
