raised approximately 15 thousand euros for the oncology department of the L’Aquila hospital


L’AQUILA – The Pizzoli Vintage organization announces that in the charity event, which took place last year, approximately 15 thousand euros were raised for the Oncology department of the L’Aquila Hospital.

The funds raised were used to purchase a hanging partition system with ceiling support, 13 tents, specialist equipment, a foldable axillary walker, a foldable wheelchair, 3 computers and 5 printers. Furthermore, a 3,350 euro research grant was funded for a study project on Organoids.

The organization, managed by the Men’s Arms Association of L’Aquila and all the associations in the area, thanks all those who performed free of charge in the shows, the associations and clubs of cars, motorbikes, bicycles and tractors who joined the initiative and, finally, the volunteers and sponsors of the event, as well as all those who participated in the event, allowing a great result to be achieved in terms of solidarity. A particular recognition to the Municipality of Pizzoli which hosted the event and to the oncology department directed by Professor Luciano Mutti
