“The cry for your HELP I have heard
I recycled with my classmates and teachers.
We have transformed paper and cardboard into little jobs
glasses and bottles… they have become author’s paintings”.
Small masterpieces to display at school, but also to have fun playing the ecological goose game or to learn how to correctly separate waste with “The Recycle”.
The creativity of its students and their teachers was the winning card of the 1st “Caiati – Don Tonino Bello” Educational Club. The fourth and fifth classes of the institute were awarded the “gold medal” of the “Environment that fun” competition, promoted by the Bitonto Environmental Education Center in collaboration with the Municipality.
The project, designed to educate children on environmental issues, saw the participation of all primary schools in the area.
What stood out were the posters created by the Caiati students, awarded last Tuesday, in the presence of the councilors Giuseppe Santoruvo and Christian Farella. Small jobs with which the little ones wanted to send a clear message to the less young too.
“We address a prayer to you adults – we read in a poem written by children -, we entrust our future to you: we do not inflict further violence and we respect the Earth”.
