Aprilia Racing CEO Massimo Rivola confirmed that an Italian rider has been contacted, but stressed that retaining Maverick Viñales remains their top priority.
Rivola elaborated on the team’s strategy, stating: “We have contacted an Italian rider to pair with Martin, but keeping Viñales is still our main objective. We want to ensure stability and competitive performance in our team.”
