There are four nursery schools in which extraordinary maintenance work will be carried out. This is what was established by the municipal administration which gave the OK for the interventions in the Piccolo Mondo structures in via degli Aurunci, Allegra Brigata in via Budapest, Babylandia in via Bachelet and Piccolo Principe in via Aniene.
“With a council resolution – declared the deputy mayor and councilor for public works Massimiliano Carnevale – the municipal administration has recovered the funds relating to the projects for extraordinary maintenance works at the municipal nursery schools, which had not been used for 5 years and were at risk to be lost. To proceed, it was necessary to remodulate the initial projects, due to a significant increase in costs, dividing them into two lots.
We will start from the first lot worth 610 thousand euros which includes four municipal nursery schools, and then find financial coverage for the remaining two even if in reality one has already been included in last month’s regional tender. The works – concludes Carnevale – will start quickly so as to allow children and their teachers to return to safer classrooms at the beginning of the next school year”.
