Ginnastica Campania 2000 silver in A2, CG Benevento comes close to the podium at the
Absolutes
A feat that the Ginnastica Campania 2000 club came close to achieving in the Artistica Serie A2 Play Offs
men’s competition of the Italian Gymnastics Federation held at the PalaWanni in Florence. It wasn’t enough for the
promotion to the top flight, in fact, the second place of the Neapolitan club presided over by Aldo
Castaldo arrived behind Sampietrina Seveso who had the merit of not making any mistakes
none of the double executions on the six competition apparatus. However, they deserve a big round of applause
Manlio Massaro, Luciano Tartaglione, Emanuele Nacca and Simone Speranza followed on the pitch by
Massimiliano Villapiano and Antonio Scardapane who believed in it in the Tuscan capital
in the end. If you think that the objective was to remain in Serie A2, this year too we achieved it
further, with the regret that with a bit of luck there would have even been talk of promotion.
The hope is that after third place in 2023 and second in 2024, 2025 could be the year
good for promotion to A1, consecrating Gymnastics Campania 2000 in the national Olympus
for teams.
Cristiana D’Anna’s CG Benevento only missed the podium in the Italian Championships
Aerobic Gymnastics Championships held at the PalaLovato in Gorle (Bergamo). The mixed couple
Alessandro Aiello- Maria Chiara Salerno, led on the platform by Angela Calicchio, after the fourth
placed in the qualifications was also repeated in the final, thus getting closer to the national elite.
Finally, in the Champions Cup held in Padua, the four senior finals on horseback were worth mentioning
handles, rings, parallel bars and bars conquered by Ivan Brunello, this year in gymnastics
Juliana Sulce’s Salerno, and that of teammate Giuseppe Chiarolanza in the rings; the two
free body and vault finals won by Emanuele Nacca and that by Luciano Tartaglione
to the rings, both from the Campania 2000 Gymnastics of Massimiliano Villapiano. In the ranking
all around, 6th Ivan Brunello, 14th Emanuele Nacca, 20th Luciano Tartaglione and 27th Giuseppe
Fiorinelli of Angelo Radmilovic’s CGA Stabia.
