OFFANENGO – Marco Agozzino is the winner of the fourth edition of the award Mario Buzzella established by his children Beatrice And Francis in memory of his father, in collaboration with Rotary club of Crema.

The ceremony took place in Offanengo at the Coim headquarters, in the presence of the two sons, the president of the club and some members.

He followed the awards ceremony via remote connection, Federica Stucchi of the fundraising office of the Polytechnic University of Milan, which manages the assignment of the scholarship.

Filiberto Fayer, president of Rotary, highlighted how Mario Buzzella was one of the most representative members of the club. He then announced the winner.

Francesco Buzzella recalled his father’s commitment to helping deserving people continue their studies. And his efforts to invite them not to stop at the three-year university course, but to continue.

Beatrice Buzzella also mentioned her father. She emphasized that he was a student worker. She then took up a phrase from her parent: «The world has progressed thanks to those who were not satisfied.”

The winner Agozzino, a fifth year student at the Polytechnic, reported his interest in nanotechnologies and his aspiration for a future as a researcher.

Giuseppe Samanniwhich maintains contact with the Polytechnic and follows the award for Rotary, underlined the high number of participants in the award.
