Andrea Parisi is the new president of the Lamezia Terme Committee of the Italian Red Cross

He was elected after the elections to the new Board of Directors, taking the place of Teresa Ferrise

The lawyer Andrea Parisi is the new president of the Lamezia Terme Committee of the Italian Red Cross.

It is the result of the elections for the new Board of Directors which will also be composed of Francesco Madonna, Patrizia Scardamaglia and Federica Lento, while Antonio Palaia was elected to represent the young volunteers.

Andrea Parisi, a long-standing lawyer active in social issues, will be president for the next four years.

During his acceptance speech, Parisi outlined the priorities of his mandate.

These include the involvement and valorisation of all the territorial branches of the Lamezia Terme Committee, the strengthening of the Local Operations Room for all the Municipalities of Lamezia, and the improvement of the training activity of volunteers to improve services to the local community.

Parisi is also committed to relaunching existing agreements with public bodies and ASPs and promoting social integration through beneficial events with other third sector bodies and social cooperatives.

The new Council will undertake to guarantee the continuity of the services already offered and to extend them, enhancing the local offices and increasing the vehicle fleet to improve operational efficiency.

The inaugural ceremony was attended by Enzo Nocera, local representative of the CRI Volunteer Military Corps, and Rosanna Sicoli, of the Red Cross Volunteer Nurses Corps, who wished all the volunteers of the CRI Committee of Lamezia Terme good work.
