All professional athletes for whom anti-doping legislation is foreseen will therefore come reported to the National Anti-Doping Prosecutor’s Office.

The investigative activity started in June 2021 when, on reporting from the Customs Agencya shipment containing large quantities of anabolic substances which led to the arrest of a 51 year old man from Rimini. In the course of the investigation, they were in fact the warehouse and the clandestine laboratory were identified and seized within which they were found, among other things, as a whole 26 bottles of the ‘date rape drug’1200 vials of nandrolone, 20 kg of ephedrine, 400 kg of active ingredients for the production of anabolics, steroids and growth hormones, as well as 700 thousand tablets already packaged and ready for sale.
