The results of European elections in the province of Ravenna they say that the Democratic Party is the leading party in 16 out of 18 municipalities: only in Sant’Agata and Brisighella were the democrats overtaken by the Brothers of Italy.
The scenario that emerged from the consultation five years ago was completely different: the PD it was first in nine municipalities and in the other nine the League established itself (with Fdi reaching its peak in Brisighella with 5.5).
Looking at the municipal detail, the percentages achieved by the Democratic Party range from the minimum of Sant’Agata (28.8) to the record of Alfonsine (47.3), passing through the 37.9 of the capital Ravenna. In seven municipalities the Democratic Party exceeded the 40 percent threshold.
The advantage over Fdi is particularly small in Cervia and Castel Bolognese. In the coastal municipality it is less than two percentage points which corresponds to 335 votes. In the municipality of Faenza the gap is even more subtle: 32 absolute votes (just 0.7 percent).
Brothers of Italy, as mentioned, is the first party in two municipalities, second in all the others. For Giorgia Meloni’s list the highest figure is Brisighella (where the local council has been centre-right since 2019) where it reached 37 percent. The lowest figure in Alfonsine with 23.1.
Third place after the two main parties varies depending on the municipalities.
In eleven cases the 5 Star Movement: the highest score is in Sant’Agata (9.7), over 8 in Massa Lombarda and Conselice.
There League in 2019 it established itself as the leading force in nine municipalities and in the other nine it was second a short distance from the Democratic Party. Today, however, it does not go beyond third place in just five municipalities. Best performance in Brisighella where he managed to reach 8.1. In Solarolo it reaches 7.2 like Forza Italia. Third strength also in Cervia, Cotignola and Lugo. In Conselice she manages to score 7.9 but the grillini go higher. In five countries the Northern League does not reach the 6 percent threshold.
Castel Bolognese is the only municipality where Forza Italia is in solitary third place with 6.9. In Solarolo tied with the League with 7.2.
Finally, the Faenza data of Green Left Alliance: in the second most populous municipality in the province (almost 60 thousand inhabitants) the 6.9 is worth third place. Avs also exceeds 6 percent in Bagnacavallo and Ravenna.
