CODEVIGO (PADUA) – Crash on Romea, husband and wife, Ignazio Bertani and Giovanna Buso, died. The accident occurred on June 9th, around 3 pm along the Romea in the area of Codevigo, in front of the Balabuska hotel. Two vehicles were involved, a car and a camper.
Jacopo Cirillo died at the age of 20 hit by a car in Rome, the tragedy on Via Casilina
Husband and wife, who were traveling in the car, lost their lives. Bertani was 81 and died instantly, Buso was 76 and died later in hospital. The woman was behind the wheel of the vehicle. The couple lived in San Donà. The driver of the camper, a man of German origin, was injured. From an initial reconstruction, the car was traveling in the direction of Padua while the camper was coming in the opposite direction, towards Chioggia. The accident caused traffic disruption and queues for kilometers formed along the Romea.
