Municipality of Benevento: competition for administrative collaborators

The Municipality of Benevento has announced a new competition for administrative collaborators.

The selection involves the hiring of an Administrative Collaborator, Expert Operators Area, with an employment relationship permanent and full-time.

REQUIREMENTS REQUIRED

Persons in possession of the general requirements for access to public competitions can participate in the competition of the Municipality of Benevento for administrative collaborators, namely:

• citizenship Italian or from one of the countries of the European Union or from other categories indicated in the announcement;
• eligibility full and unconditional performance of duties;
• enjoyment of civil and political rights;
• regular position with respect to the compulsory military service, for Italian citizens subject to this obligation;
• not be retired;
• absence of criminal convictions o criminal proceedings in progress in Italy or abroad or definitive provisions of the Court that prevent the establishment of the employment relationship with the public administration or for crimes that lead to dismissal from public offices;
• not have been indicted or convicted with a sentence which has not yet become final, for crimes which, if confirmed with an irrevocable conviction, entail the disciplinary sanction of dismissal;
• not have been dismissed or released from employment with a Public Administration for persistent insufficient performance or criminal conviction;
• not have been declared forfeited from a public job;
• not having been fired disciplinary or dismissal for just cause from employment in a public administration;
• not have been fired by a Public Administration for failure to pass the probationary period for the same profile put up for selection nor following verification that the employment was obtained through the production of false documents or documents tainted by an incurable disability and in any case with fraudulent means;
• not be in any of the conditions provided for by current laws as impediments to the establishment of a public sector employment relationship.

It is also required the fulfillment of compulsory schooling, accompanied by the possession of the specific professional qualification, or the possession of a high school diploma.

HOW THE SELECTION IS CARRIED OUT

In the event that more than 150 applications for participation are received, the examining commission has the right to decide a pre-selective test, lasting one hour, which will consist of the administration of 60 multiple choice questions, concerning the subjects of the subsequent tests.

Candidates will be subjected to the following exams:

• written test: may consist of a written paper and/or a quiz in the form of a multiple choice and/or synthetic open test, concerning the exam subjects and will be aimed at ascertaining the possession of the knowledge and technical-professional skills relating to the competitive role, as well as evaluating the candidate’s ability to apply theoretical knowledge to work situations;

• oral exam: interview aimed at ascertaining the preparation, professional ability of the candidates as well as their aptitude for the position to be filled.

This public selection complies with the new rules set out in the public competition regulations.

EXAM MATERIALS

Both tests will focus on the following exam subjects:

• Regulations on the protection of health and safety in the workplace;
• Notions on the organization of Local Authorities;
• Code of conduct for public employees;
• Elements of criminal law with particular reference to crimes against public administration;
• General principles and rules of administrative activity, administrative procedure, privacy, transparency and access;
• General principles and notions regarding the organization of work employed by public administrations, with particular reference to the employees of local authorities and elements relating to the current CCNL Local Functions;
• Elements of Administrative Law;
• Computer science knowledge;
• Basic knowledge of the English language.
