Yesterday evening, at the Casa Albergo “Immacolata Concezione” managed by Salerno Solidale, a special date was celebrated: the hundredth birthday of Mrs. Maria Mele. A rare and significant achievement, which few have the privilege of achieving. To honor this extraordinary moment, Salerno Solidale organized a memorable party, involving the family of the birthday girl, the guests of the facility, representatives of associations and all those who maintain a connection with the Casa Albergo, even after the loss of their loved ones. It was an opportunity to reaffirm and celebrate the community of affections that has been created over time around this structure.
Local institutions could not be missing from the party: the councilor for social policies of the Municipality of Salerno, Paola de Roberto, participated in the event, while the mayor Vincenzo Napoli honored Mrs. Maria with a floral tribute. The evening was enlivened by music and a buffet carefully prepared by the Salerno Solidale staff. To make the occasion even more special, it ended with a fireworks display in the suggestive quadriportico of the Casa Albergo “Immacolata Concezione”.
During the souvenir photos, Mrs. Maria, visibly moved, stood on tiptoe so as not to go unnoticed, demonstrating all the vitality and enthusiasm that characterize her centenary. This moment of joy and sharing made tangible the special bond that unites the local community, demonstrating the importance of celebrating and valuing the people and experiences that enrich our lives.
