Tragic accident in Suisio around 2am, along the provincial road 158 to Chignolo. A 37-year-old dies, his friend is serious
A dramatic accident on a Saturday evening in Bergamo. Between 8 and 9 June, around 2.30 am, a car completely left the road and it overturned in a field. This is not the only accident of its kind: more or less at the same time, but in the Bicocca area of Milan, the car of some young 20-year-olds also overturned, leaving them in serious conditions.
Saturday evening is always a delicate and demanding time for those who work in the rescue sector. Often due to alcohol fumes or the effects of drugs, taken even if you then have to drive, you lose control of the vehicle or end up being a danger to yourself or others. So here’s what happened tonight in Suisio: the causes are still to be ascertained.

The run off the road and the crash
Around 2.30 am, a Honda Jazz with a 37-year-old man of Indian origin and a 47-year-old friend on board (to whom the vehicle was registered) went off the road in via Marconi in Suisio, the provincial road 158 which leads to Chignolo. The initial investigations did not allow us to understand which of the two was driving, nor the exact dynamics of the accident: due to the dramatic crash, however, the 37-year-old lost his lifewhile the 47-year-old is hospitalized at Pope John XXIII in Bergamo in serious conditions.
According to the agents, who are working to try to reconstruct the dynamics of the facts, the Honda Jazz of the 47-year-old Indian would have first hit a parked car, then a public lighting pole and finally it would lie in a field, completely overturned. Three ambulances and two 118 medical vehicles immediately arrived on site, the Madone and Dalmine firefighters, a crew from the Italian Surveillance and the Carabinieri from the Treviglio mobile radio section.
