Lamezia Terme – “Since the beginning of the school year we have been fighting for the decorum and hygiene of the school where our children spend entire days” this is what a group of parents from the Nicholas Green school say and denounce.
“We have made various reports to our municipality – they specify – without receiving any response, except the only one – they point out – received about two months ago where two multiservice employees were sent who did a terrible job”. “We fail to realize – they continue – that the schools with our children in them and the future of the country must be safeguarded unconditionally with a service that should be constant and 100% functional, and not only when the elections are approaching”.
“It is unseemly and shameful that – they further add – in a public school there are weeds at man’s height and consequently insects and animals of all kinds which put our children at risk and which force the teachers to keep the pupils inside the classroom. structure without being able to exploit the external space and with the windows closed as there are no mosquito nets and we are talking about children aged 3/5 years old”. An appeal from the group of parents to the municipal administration to resolve the situation in the quickest and most appropriate way.
