For the elections Europeans the voter turnout in the province of Ferrara at 11pm on Saturday was 19.74%, lower than that recorded at 12pm in the previous elections in 2019, when 24.87% of voters for the European elections and 27.02% for municipal ones.

The highest turnout was recorded in the capital municipality, Ferrara, with 25.61%, followed by Tresignana with 23.35 and Voghiera with 22.51%. Off the podium, but with a good turnout, Masi Torello (22.09%), Poggio Renatico (22%), Argenta (21.78%), Copparo (21.21%), (Lagosanto (20.30%) , Fiscaglia (20.19%) and Ostellato (20%).

The “laziest” to go to the polls are by far the voters of Goro, with a paltry 8.34%, followed by Comacchio with 10.07% and Codigoro with 11.81%.

The situation is different when it comes to turnout municipal. In this case in the province, again at 11pm on Saturday, 23.09% was recorded, with the municipality of Ferrara which also in this case accounts for the lion’s share with 25.09%. Tresignana and Voghiera follow closely with 23.09% and 22.30% respectively. Masi Torello with 21.93%, Poggio Renatico with 21.66%, Argenta with 21.40% and Copparo with 20.95% maintain good turnout percentages compared to other municipalities in the province.

Bringing up the rear is the municipality of Riva del Po, currently stuck at 16.21%.
