In the evening Anzio Calcio 1924 announced, through its Facebook page edited by Marcello Bartoli, its entry into the company in the role of technical director of Emanuele Cirilli, a young manager born in 1986 with a long career as a great player behind him. “My long experience in many categories, including professionalism, can only help me in relating to footballers – declared Cirilli. The call from Anzio flattered me; certainly having played many Serie D championships as captain, I know what I can ask of a footballer. The captain’s armband made me responsible, helping me to relate to the locker room at a young age. It will also help me to have a consolidated relationship with many elements of the club, from the sporting director to the team manager, through other figures; these are friends I grew up with. For sure – concluded Cirilli – you will also have to give me time to learn and make mistakes since it is my first experience but in any case I am ready to immerse myself in the role with enthusiasm”.
