There are hours of apprehension in the city for the fate of a young mother who has not given any news of herself since Friday evening. Fortunately, the eight-month-old daughter with whom the 41-year-old woman initially fled and who was brought back to her grandparents’ home by herself and is now entrusted to their care is well. Her great concern is that, as the young mother is in a fragile condition, she might make a desperate gesture. It is known that she travels by car between Chieti and Pescara (here she was spotted in the Tiburtina area), the police are alerted for checks, taking into account however that at the moment the matter is being treated as voluntary removal.

The story
The drama begins on Friday when the woman flees in the car with the child. An absence of hours that pushes the father, strongly worried about the fate of his wife and child, to file a missing person’s report. These are moments of real anguish for the family members who rely on the police to try to find the woman and the little girl. With the report to the Carabinieri, the provincial plan for the search for missing persons is triggered. The Prefecture coordinates all the law enforcement agencies involved in the search in the area, State Police, Carabinieri, Financial Police, Municipal Police, Fire Brigade, Local Health Authority and 118. There is fear for the safety of the two, and this is the thought that terribly distresses family members and acquaintances also in light of the many news events that have happened recently. The turning point comes on Friday evening when, around 7pm, the woman decides to leave the little girl at her grandparents’ house, where there was no one as everyone was busy searching. However, this is not the end of the nightmare because the woman decides to leave again. For the woman who is now on the run alone, there is talk of disappearance on the basis of desired removal. The police continue to look for her. On Saturday morning there was a sighting along the Tiburtina in Pescara. The woman is driving the car, but the police are unable to stop her. The searches continue.
