The Avellino Waste Department participates, together with the other six regional bodies, in the “Green Med Expo & Symposium 2024” event, the general states of the environment in Campania. The event, scheduled for 12, 13 and 14 June at the Mostra d’Oltremare in Naples, represents a reference event in Southern Italy on the topics of circular economy, renewable energy and energy efficiency. As part of the initiative, the Irpinia organization has organized – in collaboration with Anci Campania and other regional bodies – a conference of particular importance, scheduled for 13 June between 12 and 2 pm, in Guest area of ​​the event. The conference will focus on the “Tariff methodology and regulation of relationships between contracting bodies and managers of the urban waste management service”, a highly topical topic which is arousing considerable interest among municipal administrations. “The problems related to the correct application of the Arera regulation, introduced with resolution no. 385 of 3 August 2023, with which the standard service contract scheme was adopted for the regulation of relations between contracting bodies and managers of the urban waste service – highlight the top management of the Avellino Ato – require a significant and in-depth analysis of the topic by the managers and managers of the environmental and financial sectors, as well as the municipal secretaries, who have the burden of ensuring the correct application of the new Arera regulation in the waste sector”. The meeting will see the participation of leading figures in the sector, including the Director of the Environment Division of Arera as well as representatives of Conai, Anea, Anutel and Ifel Campania. “The conference – they further explain from the Liguorini hill authority – offers a unique opportunity to delve deeper into tariff methodologies and the regulation of relationships between contracting bodies and managers, crucial elements for improving the efficiency and sustainability of the waste management service urban waste, in light of the Arera Resolution with which the standard service contract scheme was adopted for the regulation of relations between contracting bodies and managers of the urban waste service”. The leaders of the Avellino ATO hope for the maximum presence of mayors and technicians, who will be able to register using the form attached to the invitation sent to all municipalities.
