the second edition of “Tutti al lavoro” concludes successfully

It ended with great success second edition of “Everybody at work, the job placement you don’t expect”held today at theCampagna Amica Agrimarket of Cosenza. The event, organized by Social Cooperative “Volando Oltre”represented an important moment of celebration and reflection on the progress made in the employment inclusion of young people with disabilities.

With “Tutti al lavoro”, the social cooperative that produces “Buoni Buoni”, products rigorously ‘with a high content of happiness’, as its claim states, continues to act as incubator for insertion initiativesgiving young people positive training experiences in an integration process to achieveworking and economic autonomy. THE paid training and orientation internships – which in this second edition saw five young people with intellectual disabilities, Down syndrome and autism in action – culminated with the hiring of two of the participants who have achieved a high personal goal.

“The project – continues the promoters’ note – has been active for almost two years at the refreshment area of ​​the Campagna Amica covered market in Cosenza, under the name “Buonibuoni – Farmer’s Social Cuisine”, gave the children the opportunity to acquire professional skills in an inclusive and encouraging environment, with courses lasting from 6 to 12 months. An initiative that promotes work autonomy and reduces the stigma associated with disabilitydemonstrating that everyone can actively contribute.

At the event Speakers included Marco Amerino, President of the Volando Oltre Social Cooperative, Enrico Parisi, President of the Coldiretti Provincial Federation of Cosenza, and Veronica Buffone, Welfare Councilor of the Municipality of Cosenza. With their testimonies they told what has already been done, but above all the future prospects of this collaboration and the right combination between the agricultural world and social enterprises active in the area.

The second edition of “Tutti al lavoro” was an opportunity to celebrate the successes achieved together with the community, but above all it was a significant moment in which it was possible to see first-hand that workplace inclusion can transform lives and even entire communities , restoring confidence to many young people and families experiencing similar situations.”
