Monza, the local police arrest a 25-year-old Gambian man caught with drugs in the park
The man was caught in the afternoon of Friday 7 June, at 5.30 pm, in the fenced public park “Giardino Incantato” of Monza, in via Visconti, by the canine unit of the local police employed in checks together with the agents of the Nost (Territorial Security Operational Unit): the olfactory inspection carried out by the dog led to the discovery of the hashish that the 25-year-old would have had on him together with some small denomination banknotes and a small knife with the blade dirty with hashish. Another 58 grams were found by the dog unit on the man’s bicycle.

The check continued in the man’s home “in close collaboration with the local police of Lissone”: Others have been found here blocks and pieces of hashish, over half a kilo. The 25-year-old, already known for specific crimes dating back to 2028 “for which he had obtained probation, which had already ended” specifies the local Monza police, was arrested and validated by the judge of the Monza court who ordered the application of the precautionary measure of the obligation to reside in the municipality of Lissone.
