Livorno – Together with the coach Paolo Indiani Livorno’s new sporting director also introduced himself to the press, city and fans Egidio Bicchierai. For the expert manager, born in 1947, already alongside the former Arezzo coach in the winning experience of San Donato Tavarnelle, this is probably the crowning moment of his long career: “For me this assignment is a great satisfaction. I have done some important squares but nothing to do with Livorno”.

And on the final objective, the ideas, naturally, are very clear: “There’s no point in beating around the bush, we have to win the championship, even if we know it won’t be easy, because we’ll have to adapt to suburban pitches, but we’ll try to achieve it in every way.”

Above all, the Amaranth fans expect from him the hiring of a striker capable of guaranteeing at least 20 goals, a figure who has definitely been missed in the last two seasons: “I agree – he said – but there is Furthermore, a single striker is not enough but more players capable of guaranteeing a certain number of goals are needed , we know it, and we will work hard to bring it here.”

The president introduced the press conference Joel Esciua, which recalled the winning curriculum, even as a duo, of Bicchierai and Indiani. The technical director then spoke Alessandro Doga who welcomed the coach and the sporting director and wished him to do a great job. On the sidelines of the press conference, the Indian coaches’ staff was also presented: Niccolo Pascali (formerly coach of the Juniores and ferryman of the first team at the end of the season) as assistant coach, Manuel Sinatti as an athletic trainer, Riccardo Di Pisello who will be the goalkeeper coach and match analyst Lorenzo Nannizzi.
