Keep shining, in the ring, the star of Francesco D’Augelli. Wednesday 5 June, at the “PalaElettra” in Pescara, within the event which saw Jasmine De Felice as the first woman (winner of the main fight on points), the young boxer from Vasto achieved a splendid victory.
The young man born in 2006, registered with San Salvo Boxe, he was followed step by step by the coaches Alfredo Campitelli and Domenico Urbano in one of the amateur fights that enriched the evening in Pescara.
In the ring he confirmed the evident improvements challenging the highly rated Adriano Cacciatore on equal terms (member of the “Fiamme Oro” sports group of the State Police) who boasted just 4 defeats in the previous 15 matches. Baby D’Augelli dominated the scene in his tenth fight, beating his rival by knockout in the first round. Taking advantage of a technical scheme studied during training in the gym and landing a precise left hook to the jaw sending Cacciatore to the mat. “Precautionary suspension” of the fight and victory for the eighteen-year-old from San Salvo Boxe.
