The nine sections into which the voters (7 thousand 564 citizens) are divided will remain unchanged and will be distributed over the two floors of the buildings, accessible from the entrances on Via Cantù (mezzanine floor) and Foscolo (first floor, served by a lift).

There is a problem for children who attend primary school, and their families, because when voting is held in the building that houses the classrooms used for the elections, the schools are closed half a day or a day before them and at least the whole day. next day.

This move from Manzoni to Cantù follows the directives that invite us to identify alternative locations to schools, as indicated in Law 69 of 21 May 2021. The change of the plexus received the approval of the Police Headquarters, the Prefecture and the district electoral commission.

We have done it now, even though the school year has already ended, precisely with this in mind, to start getting people used to this change.

Does this movement of seats only concern the Cantù?

For this year yes, but we are already working to ensure the same happens, hopefully in the near future, for other school locations.
