COSENZA The confessions of the repentant are frightening, the idea that a friend can take the plunge and tell everything creates fibrillation. The “cantatas”, as never before in this period, become a useful tool for reconstructing business and clan hierarchies while in the associations the loyalty of the members is measured. TO Cosenza, repentance has almost become a trend: there is no operation conducted by the DDA that does not push one or more suspects to die and to put an end to their criminal past in search of an escape route from the underworld. There are those who are convinced of the choice made, without hesitation, and those who regret having regretted it. The most striking cases in recent years lead to the figure of Roberto Porcaro former regent of the “Italian” clan and his “lieutenant” Danilo Turboli.
