Unfortunately he passed away yesterday Carmine Cicchiello di Rionero who he had worked in the police since 1990had two children, was currently serving in Police Headquarters in Potenza.

Carmine was 54 years old, they say of him that he was “a fair and kind-hearted person, reserved and professional, well-liked by everyone”.

It was no coincidence that he was nominated Cavaliere del Lavoro a few years ago.

Having learned the sad news, he writes SIAP:

“Last night ours passed away colleague Carmine Cicchiello, veteran of the Potenza Police Headquarters and historic SIAP member.

We are heartbroken over the premature death of our colleague.

By all those who were lucky enough to know him, Carmine is described as a capable professional and a loving father, a man with a great sense of justice who loved to put himself at the service of otherseven if just with a kind word or a small gesture of generosity.
