The bank launches an experimental initiative to improve accessibility to banking services
Banca Popolare di Puglia e Basilicata has opened an innovative Evolved Branch in Altamura, designed to offer customers independent access to various banking services.
Banca Popolare di Puglia e Basilicata inaugurated the new Evoluto branch in via Bari n.21 in Altamura, Bari, Puglia, on 8 June 2024. This experimental initiative aims to improve the customer experience by allowing them to independently access a wide range of banking services, traditionally performed with the help of an operator.
The Evolved Desk was designed to be a modern and comfortable environment, equipped with a dedicated station that allows customers to carry out banking services in a simple, safe and fast way. You can also access support and advice remotely. On certain days of the week, an operator will be present to assist customers in using the available functions and to carry out other banking operations that are not yet autonomous.
During 2025, thanks to the technology provided by partners Auriga and CSE, the range of available functions will be expanded, allowing customers to carry out all operations independently or with the assistance of a remote consultant.
“This Evolved Help Desk represents a further step forward in our path of innovation,” declared President Leonardo Patroni Griffi. “The autonomy and freedom offered by this new service will significantly improve our customers’ banking experience, bringing the Bank closer to their needs and strengthening our presence in the area.”
