While waiting for the transfer market to really open, it is the players and coaches who can direct some choices, under the radar. Let’s be clear, it’s an exaggeration, but sometimes even the interpersonal relationships between the protagonists on the pitch and on the bench can have a specific weight in the success of a negotiation. The amaranth goalkeeper Luca Trombini, for example, was immortalized on holiday with Davide Lamesta, Rimini’s attacking winger. The two are almost the same age (the goalkeeper was born in 2001; the forward was born in 2000) and are both from Turin. That’s not enough, Lamesta literally exploded last year, putting together 9 goals and 13 assists in 37 appearances, under the guidance of the new Amaranth coach Emanuele Troise. In short, who knows whether two clues really prove it, even if the young winger is being courted, as well as still having a year left on his contract with the Romagna players. It cannot be ruled out, however, that he might not at least make an attempt. It is clear that if a higher category team were to come forward, such as Cesena which seems to be interested, the possible negotiation would become further complicated. The arrival of Claudio Morra, a central striker capable of scoring 19 goals in the season just ended, would also be welcome from Romagna. At 29 years of age, he would be an experienced profile but still at the height of his potential, with ideal characteristics to alternate with Gucci. Even getting to him, however, is far from easy: he is tied to the red and whites until 2026 and has a release clause that should be around one hundred thousand euros, a very high figure for the third series. More affordable, perhaps, among the former players trained by Troise, is Linas Megelaitis, a midfielder much appreciated by the Neapolitan coach, who used him continuously.

In the event that it is possible to bring back Mawuli, who returned to Sudtirol at the expiration of the annual loan, his would be the ideal identikit to fill an empty or almost empty slot. The Ancona situation should also be monitored: if the registration of the Marche club were rejected by Covisoc as is hypothesized, all members would automatically be released. Despite a certainly not positive season, there are elements of value in the key roles needed by Cavallino, such as the striker Alberto Spagnoli, 30 years of age and 15 goals scored, or the Malian midfielder Coli Saco, born in 2002 who however was on loan and is owned by Napoli. Among the main objectives of the Amaranth transfer there are also the defenders: in the role of full-back, where we will try to bring at least one of Coccia, Donati and Renzi back to the city, but also for the center of the defense, given Masetti’s long-term hospitalization and in base to the future of Risaliti, Polvani and also Lazzarini, who should remain but who Troise might not consider a defender.
