TREVISO – An evening with top marks. Ten like the kilometers that welcomed the 700 competitors of the 34th Corritreviso – Trofeo Lattebusche, the great road classic which yesterday, at sunset, peacefully invaded the city centre, once again. The elite men’s race, with the Brianza player, is a monologue Luca Alfierwhich was a race in itself from the first of the 10 laps started from Piazza Duomo and developed between Calmaggiore, via Martiri della Liberà, Piazza Borsa and via Manin. The confrontation between Bortoli and Moretton was thus decided on the finishing line, with the faster Bortoli prevailing by a couple of seconds over the Italian from Colfosco. No record however, the winner’s 16’43” is 14” lower than the time achieved in 2023 by Moretton. Among the top ten-eighth-exactly twenty years after her first triumph at Corritreviso, the Volpaghese Michela Zanatta, born in 1978.
Corritreviso started at 8pm sharp with the “open” race. A triumph for Luca Zanet, a 27-year-old from San Polo di Piave, member of the HRobert Running Team, who closed the 9.9 km race in 35’10”, overtaking Diego Viel from Belluno in the second lap, who started at a great pace, but then recovered and distanced himself from the Treviso area. The Venetian Erika Michielan she won the women’s race, finishing in 41’32”. Silver for Martina Saccol (Team Treviso), bronze for Silvia Zanusso (Tre Comuni). The two special team classifications rewarded the Venicemarathon and HRobert Running Team companies. The lagoon club won the Lattebusche Trophy as the club with the highest number of members (45), while the Povegliano club won the Maxì Grand Prix, based on the sum of the ten best chronometric performances, of which at least three were female. With a total time of 6h50’37” HRobert Runnig Team preceded Venicemarathon (7h05’29”) and Ryd Treviso (7h19’36”). “A magical evening – comments Enrico Caldato, historic president of ASD Corritreviso -. Seven hundred registered participants are a lot and confirm us as one of the most attended 10 km events in the Veneto. Treviso is a splendor even from the point of view of those who run. From an organizational point of view we have concluded a great triptych within the space of a month, with Treviso in Rosa, the contribution given to Deejay Ten and now Corritreviso.
