The Burrata di Andria PGI Consortium is a partner of the 2024 G7 Heads of State and Government Summit

The Burrata di Andria PGI Consortium will be a partner of the G7 “Summit of Heads of State and Government” – 2024 which will be held in Borgo Egnazia from 13 to 15 June 2024, the confirmation coming directly from Presidency of the Council of Ministers – Delegation for the Italian Presidency of the G7in response to the sponsorship proposal of the Burrata di Andria PGI Consortium.
Through productive demonstrations carried out by master cheesemakers, the story of the historical and cultural aspects and tastings, the dairy excellence that represents Puglia in the world, the Burrata di Andria PGI, will be narrated in a special Stand Media Center at the Fiera del Levante.
“It will be an honor for the Protection Consortium together with all the member companies to be able to support this great historical event for our territory, Puglia, telling the values, culture and history of the Burrata from Andria it has conquered palates all over the world.
The many accredited journalists and personalities of national and international institutions will be able to discover the real Burrata now recognized by the European Union with the Protected Geographical Indication “Burrata di Andria” and be able to tell it to the world, together with the other historic Italian PDO PGI Excellences that will be present in the pavilions of the Fiera del Levante, in addition to the beauties of our Puglia”, underlined by the Presidency and Management of the dairy association.

Thanks are therefore addressed to the Presidency of the Council of Ministers, to the Ministry of Agriculture and Food Sovereignty, to the Puglia Region, to Origin-Italia, the Italian Association of Consortia for the Protection of Geographical Indications.
