CEREGNANO (Rovigo) – Great successes for the Musical Department of the Villadose Comprehensive Institute.

The students Elia Clemente and Matilde Vittoria Brombin, attending the guitar course at the “Carlo Goldoni” secondary school in Ceregnano and prepared by the teacher Franca Ferraresethey distinguished themselves at National Music Competition “Youth in Music” getting a deserved one first prize in the category “Musical Middle Schools” in training guitar duo.

The competition promoted by the Pro Loco Association with the patronage of the municipality of Montagnana (PD) is now in its third edition and boasts numerous participations from schools present throughout the country.

It is in fact open to all musicians of Italian nationality or any nationality as long as they reside in Italy and are enrolled in lower secondary schools. The repertoire presented by our two winners consisted of “Rocky Ground” by British composer Debbie Cracknell and the famous Uruguayan tango “La Cumparsita” by Gerardo Matos Rodriguez.

The results achieved by the students confirm the high level of musical training imparted in the Villadose district, so much so Matilde Vittoria Brombin will continue her studies at the Conservatory of Rovigo F. Venezze having brilliantly passed the entrance exam with an admission score of 100/100.

Congratulations to these young people who dedicate themselves with passion and commitment to the study of musical art and we wish them a future full of satisfactions.
