They were delivered this morning urban regeneration works for the realization of new square in the Madonna della Sanità area, in Martina Franca, financed within the Pnrr by European funds Next Generation Eu.
The technicians of Public Works Sector of the Municipality of Martina Franca have carried out an inspection together with representatives of the ATI which was awarded the integrated contract for the works which will begin in the next few days.
The intervention involves the redevelopment of the area adjacent to the Madonna della Sanità church with the creation of a square and a series of interventions, including skate park, parking for cars and motorbikes, rainwater collection tank in order to reduce flooding in the area, roundabout connecting the square and the existing road system, equipped play area and flowerbeds, public lighting.
In recent weeks the construction site area has been subjected to cleaning and weed elimination interventions and other weeds, as well as geognostic and topographical investigations.
The amount of the contract amounts to a total of 1,926,500 euros including 1,838,400.00 euros for the works net of the 4% auction discount and 50,660 euros for safety costs not subject to the auction discount and 37,440 euros for net executive design expenses net of the auction discount, plus VAT and charges required by law.
In recent months, following checks on the correctness of the progress and regularity of the procedures followed, the Municipality has received the first advance payments from the Ministry of the Interior of the PNRR loan of 2,750,000 euros.
