Cosenza, Viola Ardone wins the XII edition of the Sila ’49 Award

COSENZA – IT IS Viola Ardone with the book “Grande Meraviglia” (Einaudi publisher) to win the twelfth edition of the Sila ’49 Prize in the Literature section. The novel addresses the problem of mental asylums, closed in 1978 by the Basaglia Law, a very cutting-edge regulation which, however, still today remains disregarded in its delicate and profound intentions.
