Regionals in Piedmont, who is Francesca Frediani presidential candidate for Piemonte Popolare

A battle above all others: that against the Tab. And a political history to defend. So at the end of 2020 Francesca Frediani decided to leave the 5 Star Movement and join the mixed group of the Piedmont Regional Council. From that moment began the adventure that led Francesca Frediani to apply for the Piedmont Region.

In the midst of the creation of October 4th Movement with Damiano Carretto, who also left the 5 Stars but with experience in the Turin City Council during the Appendino council. The other defector from the Pentastellati was part of the group, Giorgio Bertolawhich however then followed a different path from the Greens to the environmentalist civic list in support of Gianna Pentenero.

Returning to Frediani, membership arrived in December 2022 Popular Union of Luigi De Magistris. From there was born the path that led to the formation of Popular Piedmont.

Born in 1973 in Genoa and graduated in Communication Sciences, Frediani has lived since childhood in Susa Valley and there she embraced the no TAV fight which brought her to the Regional Council for the first time in 2014. An experience then replicated in 2019.

The other big ‘no’ on the list represented by Frediani concerns the war industry and the dual use that the party sees behind the City of Aerospacewhich is developing in Marche course. Frediani believes that investment should rather be concentrated on the environment and public health.

In his support there are ‘Rifondazione Comunista’, ‘Anti-capitalist Left’, ‘Power to the People’, the university collective ‘Cambiare route’ and the ‘ManifestA’ association.
