A school more open to the world of work. This has always been the European model that Italian schools have dreamed of taking inspiration from: a school made up of young people capable of learning the theoretical but also practical principles of their educational path.
Some schools and training bodies are moving in this direction by promoting School/Work Alternation projects aimed at young students aged 15 to 18 years. The aim is to facilitate the professional orientation of students through participation in experiences that systematically connect classroom training with training in the world of work.
On 6 June 2024 the students of the III C of the course “Thermo-hydraulic Operator and Motor Vehicle Repair Operator – Maintenance and repair of mechanical and electromechanical parts and systems” of the “School of Trades” of the “Logos” training institution, they undertook the practical training course on “Integrated Systems” at the CREA company in Ragusa specializing in Audio, Video and Home Automation lasting 30 hours.
The CREA company of Ragusa organizes alternation courses, internships, PON and training courses in home automation and corporate marketing aimed at: Installers and technicians, architects and engineers, students of institutes specializing in: Marketing, Communication, Electrical, Electronic, Mechatronic, Thermo-hydraulic , IT and for surveyors.
Logos is a training body accredited by the Sicilian Region that has been operating in the training sector for over twenty years, always in step with the constantly changing dynamics of the job market.
Following the reform of the second cycle of education and training, Logos created “La Scuola dei Mestieri” promoting IeFP (Professional Education and Training) courses, training interventions which allow, upon obtaining a lower middle school diploma, to fulfill the right-duty education and training and to continue their studies with three- or four-year courses aimed at acquiring a professional technical qualification or diploma.
The Logos “School of Crafts” is present in Ragusa and Vittoria, and in the province of Catania, in Adrano.
