MILAN (ITALPRESS) – From 10 June to 6 September La Milanesiana, conceived and directed by Elisabetta Sgarbi, hosts the new exhibition “Basilicata. A land in the clouds. Journey through comics with a Lucanian setting” at the Spazio BIG Santa Marta (Via Santa Marta, 10), curated by Giuseppe Palumbo and Andrea Plazzi. “I joyfully welcome the return of Basilicata to the Milanesiana. We have told it through exhibitions (a wonderful one of Cartier Bresson’s shots) and meetings in past years. With Basilicata and “Il pane” we inaugurated the magazine “Pantagruel”, with three days of meetings in Matera. With Basilicata we have rebuilt the legendary “Alterlinus”. And now we tell it as the Land of Comics. Let’s continue to discover Basilicata, a land full of present and future” says Elisabetta Sgarbi. The inauguration will be on Monday 10 June at 12.00, with speeches by Giuseppe Palumbo, Sara Chiappori, Antonio Nicoletti (Director of APT Basilicata) and Elisabetta Sgarbi. The pianist and composer Giuseppina Torre will perform in concert and for the occasion, she will perform live some compositions taken from the albums “Life Book”, “Il Silenzio Delle Stelle” and some songs taken from “The Choice”, her new album .
