Acquedotto Pugliese is carrying out interventions to improve the service in the town of Bisceglie. The extraordinary maintenance works concern the installation of a new hydrovalve in via San Mercurio.
To allow the execution of the works, it will be necessary to temporarily suspend the normal water supply on 12 June 2024 in the following areas of the Municipality of Bisceglie:
· in via San Mercurio;
· in the Sant’Andrea area, the Southern Artisanal Zone and the Eastern Artisanal Zone;
· in the western part of the town, from the Salsello area to the direction, towards the historic centre, identified by the following streets: via Albrizio, via Di Vittorio, via Giovanni Paolo II, via prof. Terlizzi, via Don Minzoni, via Veneziani and via La Marina.
The suspension will last 16 hours, starting from 8:00 am with restoration at 12:00 am.
Discomfort will be felt exclusively in buildings without an autoclave and water reserve or with insufficient storage capacity.
Acquedotto Pugliese recommends residents of the affected area to rationalize consumption, avoiding non-priority uses of water during the hours affected by the water interruption. Consumption, in fact, constitutes a fundamental variable to avoid any inconveniences.
