MATTARELLA IN VERONA FOR ITALIAN LYRIC SINGING
VERONA – The best opera performers and an exceptional cast of entertainment artists will take to the Arena stage in the presence of the President of the Republic Sergio Mattarella in the audience. With him several ministers and authorities.
Verona is preparing to experience a night as the world capital of opera singing with the great evening scheduled for Friday 7 June broadcast worldwide and organized by the Ministry of Culture to celebrate the Great Italian Opera, a World Heritage Site.
The absolute protagonist will be opera singing with 160 orchestra teachers and 300 choir artists from the Italian symphonic opera foundations and with the extraordinary participation of Riccardo Muti. The show starts at 8.30 pm, access to the amphitheater is allowed until 7.45 pm. All for an evening, made up of more than 30 musical moments with an interval. Also scheduled are dance performances by Roberto Bolle and Nicoletta Manni and hosted by Alberto Angela, Cristiana Capotondi and Luca Zingaretti.
For the occasion, an ad hoc safety plan was prepared as well as a special health plan. The health interventions will be coordinated by the Suem 118 operations center which has arranged for the extraordinary presence in the Arena of: 5 ambulances, 2 doctors, 2 nurses, 35 people including drivers and rescuers, a mobile medical clinic and a mobile coordination center. An ambulance will be dedicated to the Head of State.
