The “Sailing day” promoted by Lega Navale and Pennetti Lab was presented in Barletta

Three days full of activities with sailing at the centre. With this morning’s press conference at the Lega Navale headquarters in Barletta, the “Sailing day” officially opened, an event promoted to bring new generations closer to the varied world of sailing, with the support of the main sponsor Pennetti Lab. After the courses of rowing, coastal rowing, kite surfing, diving, sport fishing, in collaboration with the Italian Sailing Federation, on 7, 8 and 9 June, from 9.30 to 12.30, under the guidance of valid instructors, the children (from 6 years old) and children up to the age of majority will be able to participate free of charge in practical and theoretical lessons, as well as games and activities related to the sea.

«I am proud – explained the president of the Naval League Giuseppe Gammarota – to have organized this initiative alongside Ludovico Pennetti who is a great sailor. After a long time, we are finally bringing sailing that counts back to Barletta. We have been members of the FIV for three years and we have the aim of putting sailing back at the center of our activities. These three days will be dedicated to learning about sailing, the kids will get in touch with this sport assisted by our instructors. To participate, all you need is a hat and the desire to go to sea, it’s all absolutely free.”

Alongside the Lega Navale in promoting the event is Pennetti Lab «Sailing – explained Ludovico Pennetti – is a lifestyle, a splendid sport which however requires infrastructure and in this the Lega Navale of Barletta is giving a lot by enriching his activity. After years, sailing is being added to rowing, kiting and surfing, I am thrilled to say this because my father who is no longer here was president of this League and today I am also returning to bring his teachings. To the kids who want to get involved in this sport, I say: nourish yourself and breathe in health.”
