A smile for a friend, a smile for Camilla: this is the title of the charity afternoon, in its second edition, organized for Sunday 9 June, from 4pm to 7pm, dedicated to the memory of Camilla Vezzoni, a 5-year-old girl who flew to heaven in December 2022 in Piadena Drizzona. A beautiful little girl, with a sweet and happy smile, forced, with her loved ones, to face the unfair test of heart surgery and leukemia.
“It will be an afternoon full of smiles. The one, beautiful and unforgettable, that Camilla always gave us, when she attended the agrinido. And what we would like to donate, with our closeness and with a gesture of solidarity, to the families who face the difficult test of a child’s illness.” Gianna Balestra, owner of the Maghenzani educational farm – Agrinido Piccoli Frutti, uses these words to describe the special Sunday that we are preparing to experience at Boschetto di Cremona, in via Malcantone 16/d.
“When Camilla passed away we immediately thought of creating a day dedicated to her – explains Gianna -. And it will be a day of smiles, because Camilla was a very, very smiling little girl. This is how we want to remember her.”
Entrance is free, without reservation, with a free contribution to ABE, the Hemopathic Child Association that helped Camilla and her family throughout the entire journey, and to the “From the nose to the heart Vip Cremona” Association. The event is sponsored by the Municipality of Cremona and sees the participation of Coldiretti Cremona.
The program is full of proposals. There will be natural and inclusive workshops (themes: “Salted herbs”, “The colors of nature”; “Flower bombs”) organized by the Maghenzani educational farm, which will involve girls and boys of all ages, together with parents and grandparents . There will be “Smiles, games, dancing and lots of joy” in the company of the Clauns (that’s what they call themselves) of “Dal Naso al Cuore Vip Cremona”. And then the routes that include meeting all the farm animals, moments of relaxation surrounded by greenery, the “refreshing” corner of Coldiretti … and more.
