Another eight provisions were issued by the police commissioner of Caltanissetta, Pinuccia Albertina Agnello, “implementing prevention measures against people who have been responsible for serious anti-social conduct”. Basically, these are five urban notices, a warning for domestic violence, a mandatory expulsion order and an oral warning.
Since the beginning of the year, 100 prevention measures have been imposed: 53 oral warnings, 18 warnings for persecutory acts and domestic violence, 17 urban daspos, 11 mandatory expulsion orders and 1 daspo.
The five urban daspo measures concern people arrested last March in Riesi by the Carabinieri of the station because they were involved in a fight that broke out near an association for trivial reasons. “With the provisions issued by the Police Commissioner, for reasons of public order, the aforementioned people were prohibited from accessing and staying in various accommodation establishments in the city of Riesi, in the evening and at night, for a period of two years”, we read in the press note.
A warning for domestic violence was issued to a 22-year-old, “who committed personal injuries to his mother and sister and was reported by the agents of the Gela public safety police station”, the statement continues.
A 51-year-old from the province of Agrigento, already reported for persecutory acts by the agents of the Flying Section of Caltanissetta “for having carried out a series of persecutory and harassment acts against a woman from Nisse, in recent days returned to the capital, recontacting the victim and repeating the harassment.”
“The aforementioned person – continues the note – was ordered to leave the territory of the municipality of Caltanissetta with a ban on returning for a period of two years. Finally, a 24-year-old from Gelato was notified orally as he had been reported by the police of the Public Security Police Department for carrying a knife of a prohibited kind”.
“With the prevention measures issued by the Police Commissioner, the aforementioned people were all invited to change their behavior – ends the press release –. Since the beginning of the year, 100 administrative measures have been issued by the Anti-Crime Police Division which have allowed the Police Commissioner to issue 53 oral warnings, 18 warnings for persecutory acts and domestic violence, 17 urban daspos, 11 mandatory expulsion orders and 1 access ban in places where sporting competitions are held”.
